<p>Leveraging the same technology that enables interplanetary travel through P.O.W., the Ansible is a communications network that transmits information, entertainment, and alerts to receivers at each Confederate Orbiting Station.</p><p><br></p><p>the Ansible is a public network that has remained untethered to Confederation control though there is a ConFed secured channel and the Confederation does pay to have access for broadcasting news, alerts, and bulletins (interrupting NABs).</p><p><br></p><p>the Ansible has a high paywall for transmissions that limits broadcasting to elites, so mostly it transmits NABs, Liberty or Death episodes, GravBall games, and other highly catered content.</p>
