The Vardum Templar

The group battles against Vardum Templar in a hall, with Carlos managing to lock the door. They then enter a room with all mirrors and find three shells, one of which heals Darnit. They hear a creepy chant and face a hulking knight.

Set in

Four Vardum Templar surround the group in a hall. They wear dark red plate armor with the Vardum crest. Darnit asks if the door is open, and it is unlocked but not ajar. He requests to open it slightly. The three inner Vardum attack, but Darnit defends and Carlos dodges. One Templar plays a flute, making the armor glow. Hrothulf prepares to fight, and Hiare takes cover. Carlos plans to grab the lock off the door. Izar uses shadowy tentacles, Darnit casts magic missiles, and the bard plays a song. Battle ensues, with Carlos unlocking the door and everyone moving inside. They find a mirrored room with a tank of water. Darnit notices a slightly opened mirror and suggests investigating. They consider letting the Vardum in. Carlos examines shells in a closet, Hrothulf lights candles, and Izar plays a conch shell for healing. The Vardum continue their attack. Izar plays the onyx shell and a massive knight appears.
