Izar attracts the crabs' attention with a jetpack and discovers a sodium deposit channel. He sends a picture of the window to Atchi. Hrothulf struggles with the crab on his ankle. Darnit throws merfolk fin at a crab and moves towards Carlos. Carlos falls into a pile of bones, attracting the attention of the crabs. Carlos calls for help while defending himself. Hrothulf breaks free and reaches the bone room. Izar joins Hiare and tries to remove the key from a crab. Darnit checks on Izar and is attacked by a crab. Carlos tricks a crab with flesh bait. Carlos dodges a crab and plans to escape with Hrothulf's help. Izar puts five crabs to sleep and searches for the key. Hiare finds the key and Darnit leaves. Carlos distracts the crabs while Hrothulf guides one away. Carlos lures a crab into the wall, while another attacks him with black water. Carlos escapes and meets the others in the hallway, closing the doors. They discuss the key and consider their next move. Izar contacts Atchi about the window's writing, and Hrothulf helps Hiare unlock a door with the key. Four knighted individuals appear in the hallway. They are identified as the Vardum.
