The party is judged by Mazoë's followers in a bowl painted with metal substance. Mazoë sends four arbiters of justice to judge them. The party fights off vampire bats, a slug, and two grey knights, while trying to prove their innocence.
Set in
We wake up in a large bowl with an iron grate top. Guerilla warfare servants surround us, chanting and cheering. The bowl and grate are coated with a metal substance. One servant mentions the god Mazoë. Hrothulf wakes up with a metallic taste from a paralytic poison. The railman accuses us of being infiltrators and presents evidence against us. There is a crescent moon in the wall, a drain in the middle, and the floor is sheer. Carlos notices our armor is branded as Kamasu property. The railman explains that Mazoë will judge us. He summons four arbiters, including vampire bats, a slug, and two grey knights. The bats attack Carlos while the slug targets Darnit. The knights move in tandem. Izar engages one knight with a hand from his ranseur. Hrothulf's forcefield fails, but he attacks the slug with a flaming sock. Hiare struggles with the bats. Darnit hits the slug with a hammer. Carlos mimics one of the knights. The slug swallows Darnit but regurgitates him later. Izar puts some bats to sleep and Hrothulf attacks the slug again. Carlos takes damage from the knights' swords. Izar holds one knight while Hrothulf deals a significant blow to the slug. Darnit emerges from the slug once more. Carlos fights the other knight and distracts it. The slug attempts to switch its head and tail but seems in pain. The bats punch Izar, but he lands safely. One knight charges at Carlos, and a shield falls. Izar attacks the bats with acid while Hrothulf attacks the slug again.
