In the cafeteria, Carlos talks to a fisherman who wants a detector to track giant squids. Dorinda enters a green door, covered in spider goo. A combat robot asks for her card, and she resists but eventually gives it up. The group discusses surrendering. Dorinda is taken away while the others head to the hangar bay. They find Dr. Slow's glider and Rickshaw Dan's van. Erizo appears, creating a safe space to talk. He asks about their experiences and shows them flying pigs. The pigs turn hostile, and a fight ensues. Hiare disappears, and Erizo becomes emaciated. Hrothulf confronts Erizo about the book, and Dorinda is unreachable. The pigs retreat, and Izar checks for Vardum indication.
