Fighting off a swarm of bots, the group manages to set the last bomb, but the bombs fail to detonate. The group realizes the cause, and Dorinda cloaks and sets off the EMP to stop the hum just long enough for the others to detonate the bombs and blow up the island.
In the southeast corner, the team prepares the last bomb while protecting Ego. Twelve bots, equipped with lethal weapons, attack them. Hrothulf, Hayete, and Fei suffer the most damage. Nilchi coordinates with Hayete and Fei to counter the robots. Dorinda fights off four bots and switches to a force blade. Poyraz and Hrothulf successfully disable some bots. Ego sets the bomb while the griffins coordinate their attack. Izar shocks the flanking bots. Dorinda rescues Hrothulf, and Poyraz throws bots off the edge. The bombs fail to detonate, prompting investigations for the cause. Dorinda goes invisible to disable a humming sound. The team draws the bots' attention away. Dorinda successfully disables the hum with an EMP. The team activates the bombs, causing a massive explosion that shuts down all the bots and destroys the Whidmore Operations area. The team celebrates and returns to base.
