Hrothulf asks about keeping secrets, and Izar clarifies that they may have some secrets. Dhund Hal Ka reveals the contents of her pack, including rope and daggers. Meanwhile, Dorinda and Ego hide with the Dagger and discuss whether to bring it with them or leave it behind. They join the group at the cave entrance, where Dorinda shows the Dagger member. They discuss taking the person with them and leaving the planet quickly. Dorinda wants to save the person from Vardum's control, as she once was. Visparo approaches Izar for a brief audience. Atchi asks where they are going and brings up payment issues. Dos assures Ego about Kosmo's stability. The group talks to Dhund Hal Ka about her past branch experiences. Dorinda asks about their progress in freeing Gliten, and Dhund Hal Ka explains the need for a complete set of gods to awaken them.
