The creature challenges Ego to choose an arena for their battle. Darnit suggests a battle of wits, but the creature wants a battle of carnage. Ego chooses the antigravity room and finds herself floating inside the dome. Darnit is pushed into the water by the creature and a giant candy cane emerges. Izar, Hrothulf, and Dorinda are in the sand pit. Ego trash talks the elf and ties her sash to a pole for stability. The elf attacks but misses Ego and lands on the ground. Dorinda realizes her weapons are missing. Darnit tries to break the candy cane but gets engulfed in its peppermint aroma. The candy cane attacks Darnit, who ends up in the water. Izar notices his reduced movement speed. Hrothulf digs in the sand and notices a growing bulge. The bulge erupts, and Hrothulf attacks it. Ego tries to fight the elf, and Dorinda kicks the worm. Darnit tries to take down the candy cane but gets stuck to it. Izar attempts to damage the bulge. Hrothulf gets swallowed by the worm but manages to escape. Ego transforms into a Koalinth and tries to squeeze the elf but fails. Dorinda attacks the worm and frees Hrothulf. The worm turns into sand. Darnit breaks the ice and confronts the candy cane. Hrothulf tests the force field and finds it impenetrable. Dorinda approaches the fire arena but doesn't enter yet. Ego tries to reconcile with the elf and they agree to end the fight and have smoothies together. The elf gives Ego a bracelet and they plan to meet in the smoothie room.
