In a narrow alley, after leaving the bank, three black vans surround the group. Two men with flamethrowers attack, but Ego/Daryo is spared. Hrothulf fights Tokka, a taller opponent. A wolfman tells DarEgo he's being taken away. Izar is blinded by a flashbang but manages to hit Rocksteady with an acid spell. Darnit throws Barkamena at Rocksteady, and Hrothulf disengages from Tokka. DarEgo is pushed into a van but escapes with his wheelchair. Hrothulf's shins are cut, and Tokka puts Darnit in a dumpster. Izar creates an illusory acid pool. Darnit casts Aganazzar’s Scorcher, igniting Bebop and a van. Hrothulf attacks a giant snapping turtle suit. DarEgo joins the others while escaping the on-fire Bebop. Hrothulf crashes through a door with the snapping turtle suit on him. Izar hits a van with lightning, and Daryo notices the driver electrocuted. Darnit throws weapons at Bebop and Jimbo. Tokka snarls at Hrothulf, who stabs the turtle's feet. Jimbo reveals himself as an orcish ally. They head to the Coconut for drinks. They all get in the vans, and Bebop calms Tokka down. Hrothulf negotiates with the hookah bar visitors. Daryo decides to go with the animal posse. Dorinda arrives and asks about Ego's whereabouts. They explain the fight to her.
