There is a conflict between the elves and dwarves regarding exploration beyond the city walls. Gliten intervenes and spreads chaos and order across different planets. Tyrono'e and Mazoë represent dreams/magic and justice/courage, respectively. They create champions and engage in a battle that ends in a tie. Mazoë and Moronoë represent wisdom/prudence and nature/technology, respectively. They clash over different approaches to farming and land cultivation. Gliten intervenes again and imposes limits on both nature and technology. The mortals challenge the gods in the Pantheon Wars and create a weapon to kill them. Eventually, a compromise is reached, allowing mortals to be free from the Pantheon's influence. Magura prevents access to a final icon and communicates through gestures. The group encounters traps and dangers in the temple. The presence of Vardum, an infiltrating force, is hinted at in the temples. Hiare explores the ethereal plane but finds nothing significant.
