The group creates a scale representing dreams and nightmares, and places it in the northwest corner. They rearrange the other scales and come up with a final answer. Teresias crystallizes into the wall and the scales fall off, leaving a polvimithe disc floating above them. They touch it simultaneously and it becomes incredibly light. They stand on it and the walls of the cube fade away, revealing their equipment and armor. They find a gryphon egg and feathers of their gryphons, and Hiare gives Izar a feather that allows him to call his gryphon back. Dorinda touches Serafina's feather and four identical androids appear.
Hrothulf discovers a scale made of food resembling a lighthouse with a female figure. Darnit finds a scale with a jagged stone symbolizing law. Dorinda attempts to divine the nature of the dreams and psyche scale but forgets the details. They discuss nightmares and dreams for the scale. They arrange the scales and discuss the placement of chaos and law. Teresias plays the Jeopardy theme and they finalize their arrangement. Teresias crystallizes into the wall. The cube shakes and the scales disappear. A disc with nine circles appears above Dorinda. They touch the disc and it becomes lightweight. They contemplate standing on it. The scales turn into holographic images above the holes. They decide to stand on the disc and their equipment returns. The cube fades and reveals a gryphon egg and feathers. Hiare gives Izar a feather, and he realizes he can call his gryphon. Dorinda touches Serafina's feather, summoning four androids.
