In Gonhirrim, a power struggle exists between traditionalism and progress. The moons have labor unions, with some supporting Whidmore Corp. for expansion. Each moon has a temple dedicated to a different god. Hrothulf, Darnit, and Izar are making a sword but lack the necessary materials. Ego wants Daryo's help with AI processes. They plan to visit various temples, starting with Thiton's on Durinfol. They bypass the orbiting station and head to the temple. Daryo convulses, and Izar joins him in the ReDream. They find a vineyard with missing fruit and hear a metallic echo. Ego wonders if Daryo ate the fruit prematurely. The safe word is mentioned, and Ego sees the word "winepress" in the code.
