We descend about 30 steps into a maze with shifting walls. The fog covers our vision. We notice a spiral pattern to the West and an open plain to the Northeast. Ego and Hrothulf decide to enter the maze. The beam to the clew follows the stairs. A wall appears at the top of the stairs. We encounter a fork and Bruno joins us and plays a song relevant to our situation (https://photos.app.goo.gl/5Yu7d1dRCPKueDyN7). We choose the left path. Two rocky gargoyle-like creatures attack, but we defeat them. We banter about a quagga and make jokes. The quagga takes a bathroom break. We find the situation amusing.
