We walk down a hall, unsure of which way to go. Izar checks the map on his wrist. Huan-ti stops Carlos-Erizo to discuss the readiness of the project involving a squid. They talk about showing it to satiate someone's anticipation. Carlos-Erizo declines an offer for help due to being busy. Izar leads us to the library where we insert a card to open the door. Inside, we find books, a messy desk, and two peculiar items—a large locked tome and a device resembling a suitcase with a tube. We search the room, finding a pencil drawer and a book with gilded edges. Various characters investigate the drawer and the books, discovering unique details. Darnit reveals that the AB case has three locks. Hrothulf examines the leather-bound book and asks if it holds any magical significance. Izar finds an ancient book bound in animal hide and opens it. The group examines the items and encounters a robot entering the room. They prepare for a confrontation with the robot. Carlos-Erizo interacts with the robot, buying time by using an ink spill distraction. The robot requests identification verification. Hrothulf searches the library for the missing Codex. Carlos-Erizo and Izar attempt to trick the robot. Izar finds a lighter book with a silhouette on the binding. The robot continues its authentication process. Carlos-Erizo communicates with the robot through a recording. The group decides to proceed to the cargo bay, taking various items with them. Izar opens the locked book, revealing nine scratched pages. Carlos-Erizo tries inputting codex words into the AB case but receives an insufficient data message. The codex reveals information about a solar cannon battle. Carlos-Erizo activates the AB case, displaying an image of a door, benches, and two people in skeletal form. They take the relevant items and return the book to its place before heading to the cargo bay.
