The party arrives in Didymus Prime, in the post-apocalyptic, rundown Ashtown. They visit the Copper Kettle bar, encountering minotaurs, goblins, and a bugbear. They gather information about the confederation presence and gang activity in Goshen.
Set in
Welcome to Didymus Prime, a dusty and desolate place known for its low prices and lack of activity. The cataclysm that split Didymus has left it in a post-apocalyptic state with poor dental care. The population consists of eccentric locals, tribal nomads, and mudders. Didymus exports minerals for mixing with other world's resources. Ashtown is our destination, and we decide to be dropped off outside the city limits. We find a beat-up van missing a tire but still drivable. The van's interior is in disrepair, but we leave it as is. Ashtown has a rundown atmosphere, and the Copper Kettle is our target for information. We encounter minotaurs, goblins, and a bugbear at the bar. Ego talks to a nervous man named Rick Moriarty, while Hrothulf and Izar engage with the locals. A man named Neil confronts them about their behavior, leading to a tense exchange. We learn about the confederation presence and Goshen as the main city with business activities. Izar asks for a specific drink, but the bartender offers him gin instead. Hrothulf talks to Neil, who reveals minimal confederation presence and shares insights about gang activity in Goshen. Ego interacts with teenagers who mention a bomb shelter used for drugs.
