Carlos discovers that Nikki has been bought out by Whidmore. However, Nikki managed to save an invisibility cloak hidden under a cactus, which was mistakenly delivered to the wrong office. The cloak has a reservoir for coffee that provides 10 minutes of invisibility when activated. Carlos also adds a projectile weapon called the needler flechette to the ship's mine deployment system and upgrades it with the Vortex Weapon abilities. Hrothulf presents Izar with dog treats made from a dragon's breath weapon gland, which can give Hiare a 3d6 breath weapon. Izar is acknowledged as a true Dream Weaver.
