Izar, Darnit, and Atchi arrive at the Manticore Green casino. The place is dimly lit with red velvet drapery and has scantily-clad individuals and gambling machines. Atchi looks for a medium-high stakes table while Darnit seeks his old boss, who got promoted. Darnit expresses his desire for a job requiring strength and battle experience. The boss mentions a club that needs enforcers for high-paying gigs. He gives Darnit a paper to pretend to sign and asks him to come back later. The paper is labeled "Destined for Nowhere."
